Messy Church is fun way to learn about God for all the family.
Each Messy Church meeting has a particular theme based on the bible. At Messy Church we gather together for crafts and games, followed by a short story from the bible, a song and prayer. We then share a meal together and finish by saying the Messy Grace together. The first ever Messy Church began in 2004 at St Wilfrid's Church in Cowplain near Portsmouth. Since then it has spread across the world and from the Church of England throughout other Christian denominations. To find out more about the Messy Church movement, please go to their website. |
